Always place the sky shell on a flat, open outdoor surface, away from people, trees, and overhead wires. Do not hold or tilt the tube while lighting. Use a long sparkler or safety lighter to ignite the fuse at arm’s length, then move away immediately. Never lean over the shell or try to relight if it fails. Keep water or sand nearby, and ensure children are supervised at all times.
